Khaw Veon Szu, 37 appointed as Municipal Councilor of the Penang Island Municipality in January 2007. He has served the community in George Town by highlighting and addressing the concerns of the people. He is presently the State Gerakan publicity bureau chief and Pykett Avenue branch chairman, and thereby a member of Tanjung Gerakan Division. He started his political path by joining Parti Gerakan Rakyat Malaysia in 1997 upon completion of his tertiary education.
